Decompression
Spinal decompression therapy is a non surgical treatment for chronic lower back pain caused by degenerative disc disease, herniated disc or other deformities of the disc. These conditions can cause excruciating pain in the lower back portion. This can be returned to the normal condition using spinal decompression. Spinal decompression lengthens the bulging disc by placing traction. This activity helps the disc absorb the nutrients required to heal the disc. This is done by producing a negative pressure inside the disc. Thus the pain and discomfort produced by the bulging disc is eliminated.
Medical researches have supported decompression therapy as recent studies have proved it to be safer and more effective than spinal surgery. The cost for spinal decompression therapy is only about 10% that for lumbar surgery, which makes it an economical option. It is a more effective and safer treatment than surgery…involving minimum cost and in minimum time. Dr. Hall can tell you if you are a good candidate to receive spinal decompression after a complete evaluation and exam have been performed.
K-Laser or Cold Laser Therapy
K-laser therapy is an affordable, non-surgical solution to reducing pain and inflammation. K-laser Therapy uses red and near-infrared light to decrease pain, inflammation, scar tissue formation, and to increase circulation and promote healing. There are thousands of studies showing the clinical effectiveness of K-laser Therapy. There is little or no sensation during treatment. Typical treatment is 7-10 minutes. Typically K-laser therapy is done in a series of 5 sessions or more for best results. Most insurances do not cover K-laser therapy, but we would be happy to verify coverage for you.
Roller-bed (inter-segmental traction)
These beds are used to gently separate vertebrae at each level. They provide motion to stiffened joints, can help reduce muscle spasm, and increases blood and oxygen delivery to the joints to help reduce pain.
Electric Stimulation
This gently therapy helps reduce swelling, pain, and muscle spasm by increasing blood and nutrient delivery to the tissues. It is often used in sprain/strain injuries, arthritis or stiffness, in both acute injuries and chronic conditions.
Trigger Point Therapy
Myofascial Release Therapy
Neuro-Muscular Re-education
All of these manual therapies are performed by the Doctor, or his trained assistant. They help reduce pain and muscle spasms, increases circulation and mobility to the area, and help to reduce the chances of arthritis.
